Torc Candles design studio is located in the village of Borris. We have been creating a wide range of candles since 1968 for the Irish, UK and European markets.
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our small team. No day is the same in Torc Candles – if you love a challenge and working on a several projects in a fast-paced environment, this job might be for you.
The Roles:
We are looking to hire full time and contract staff to join our production team in 2022 roles will include:
- Packing staff
- Line operators
- General operatives.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Working under the guidance of production manager.
- Responsible for packing our beautiful candles and diffusers, with great care whilst meeting the agreed quality standards.
- Capable of meeting production targets and deadlines.
- Working on an assembly line.
- Machine and hand tool operation.
- Ability to work with semi/automated equipment
- Adhering to quality control standards.
- From time-to-time other duties will be requested by your manager.
- Cleaning equipment and machines and keeping work station clean.
Key Requirements:
- Hard working can-do-attitude
- Good eye for detail
- Must be eligible to work in Ireland
- No previous manufacturing experience is required but would be looked on favorably.
–Positions are available on both our day and evening shifts. Torc pay an additional shift allowance for staff working the evening shift, typically 16:00pm to midnight.
-The successful applicants will report to the production manager and all training will be provided. This is an amazing opportunity to grow within an Irish company.
